Playing by yourself all the time is no fun. Why not learn to code with your best friend, classmate, brother, or sister?
Why
Scratch is more than just a coding language. It is a community of over 50 million users across the world that want to learn to code and create things just like you.
What
In this lesson you are going to learn how to follow your friends. You will be able to share projects with each other as well as collaborate on projects together.
How
In order to find your friends, it helps to first find a project they shared.
The Lesson
Start by logging into your Scratch account. To practice connecting with a friend, you are going to need to find one of their projects that they have shared. Remember, you cannot share projects unless you confirm your email when you sign up for your account.
Once you have a project of theirs on the screen, not see inside view, but the view with the remix button, you can click on their username in the top left. You should see their profile now. In the top left is a blue follow button. Click on this button to follow your friend. Once you follow your friends, it will be easy to see the latest projects that they shared. You can remix those projects and work together on projects.
